Armanta Appoints Former Oracle Exec Patrick Gagnon,

Vice President of Sales

Expands Staff to Keep Pace with Heightened Demand

for Business Intelligence  Solutions that Meet Specific Business Needs

MORRISTOWN, NJ, Feb. 23, 2009  -- Armanta, Inc., a leader of business intelligence software for financial services enterprises, announced today that it has appointed Patrick S. Gagnon vice president of sales.

Gagnon joins Armanta from Oracle Financial Services Software Ltd. where he was director of sales for the Americas, responsible for selling the Compliance and Surveillance suite of solutions to financial services firms.

Gagnon has more than 15 years of sales and trading experience, working in the U.S. and Singapore.  In addition to his tenure at Oracle, Gagnon has held positions with a number of other technology and financial services companies, including AIG International, Misys plc. and Symphony RPM.

Patrick Gagnon is a graduate of Syracuse University with a B.S. degree in Finance. He holds membership in key finance associations, including the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP), the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA), and the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS).

A native of Rhode Island, Gagnon resides with his family in Ridgefield, Conn.
