The Armanta Theatre Client, the user’s dashboard, is a full-featured Java GUI. Customers can integrate their tools and create custom modules that function as an integral part of their desktop. Through the dashboard users can view and interact with reports, automate business processes and create context-sensitive customer modules.
The ATC allows groups of servers to be partitioned for load balancing. It can scale data and calculations across multiple servers in multiple locations in different time zones around the globe to make use of idle resources.
The Intelligence Cache provides multiple, arbitrarily complex in-memory data models populated on demand from the data integration layer and kept up-to-date as data changes. Some of the more powerful capabilities include the ability to perform custom calculations and a shared, persistent development environment called the “Sandbox” which automatically updates when external changes occur and allows users to run complicated what-if scenarios.
The Intelligence Engine supports
the generation of complex, multi-dimensional reports. Some of the more powerful capabilities include optimized report re-calculation, report caching and load balancing and the ability to compare portfolios in and out of the “Sandbox.”
The Data Integration Layer sits on top of the customer’s internal data providing a layer between the physical data and the in-memory data model. This allows easy integration with relational databases and with arbitrarily complex data sources - often without having to write one line of code.
“We liked the openness of the platform. In addition to the tools they provide, the framework is basically a blank canvas, and as long as you provide the metadata you can drag and drop, set limits and tolerances at the row, column and cell level, drill down, produce summary and link to other views.”
