Armanta Theatre Client

The Theatre client is a lightweight Java Swing graphical user interface (GUI) that presents all of the capabilities of the I-Services to the
end user in an intuitive and efficient manner. The end user typically runs many applications on their desktop. The footprint of the client is kept low by the fact that all of the data and calculations reside within the I-Services layer, which is running on an appropriately configured server. The desktop manages just the presentation of the data, which is typically a small fraction of the overall footprint. This provides users with the ability to run views which incorporate extremely large amounts of data without impacting their desktop.

In addition to a variety of screens that are used to create views and manipulate views, there are many other features
that facilitate the implementation of investment process functionality. Some of these features include:

	Navigation mechanisms that allow the end user to move quickly from one view of information to another.
	Heat-mapping capabilities to help quickly identify issues that need attention
	The incorporation of customer-specific programs or routines to perform specific functions. Examples of such plug-ins include optimizers, calculators, links to other systems, trade screens, etc.
	Generation of custom benchmarks
	Simple view-generation mechanism that enables custom views to be defined by each user with a minimum of effort
	Drill down mechanism to allow expand-collapse capability of hierarchical reports
	Real-time graphing capability
	Robust visual docking framework
