Peter Chirlian, Chief Executive Officer
Peter Chirlian’s extensive financial services experience was key in the founding of Armanta. Throughout his career, he has worked with some of the most complex products and processes for the largest financial institutions in the world. As Chirlian leads Armanta into its next phase of growth, he continues working with customers to help them achieve the Armanta advantage of Seeing the Big Picture so they can make Better Decisions.
Prior to Armanta, Chirlian was Managing Director and head of the Financial Strategies Group at Prudential Global Asset Management. He also led the Global Fixed Income electronic trading business at Goldman Sachs. Peter Chirlian has held management, trading, and development positions at other global companies including Lehman Brothers, First Boston and Bell Laboratories.
Eric Kaplan, Chief Technology Officer
Eric Kaplan brings deep expertise in IT architecture and operations to Armanta. Prior to Armanta, Mr. Kaplan was Global Director of Fixed Income Electronic Trading at Merrill Lynch and held key management positions as systems architect and technical development lead with Goldman Sachs and Lehman Brothers. Eric Kaplan was formerly a senior consultant with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), where he led the development of large, mission-critical client/server systems. Mr. Kaplan holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University.
Dan Yu, Managing Director, Global Head of Sales
Dan Yu brings over 20 years of experience in sales and marketing strategy to his role and has worked with some of the largest financial services and asset management firms in the world. Prior to Armanta, Yu was Head of Americas Sales for RealTick, a financial technology firm. He has also held a number of senior positions at Lava Trading / Citigroup, including Head of Business Development for LavaFlow ECN. Yu started his career as a sales trader at Instinet and became head trader at The Griswold Co. and Puglisi & Co. He is active with several non-profit organizations including The Ronald McDonald House of New York and Dress for Success. Dan Yu holds a BBA and MBA from the University of Notre Dame.
